Britian's Royal, Prince Harry, totally rocked Jamaica while wearing these royal blue desert chucks. He even spoke a little Patois to the locals, leaving one to wonder if he sampled any other local produce as he's been known to do. Whatever the case, he looked damned good doing it. Rock on, Harry.
The day before in the Bahamas, Harry took his linen suit up a notch when he added a brown pair of Russel and Bromley desert chucks to his ensemble. Chucks, or desert boots, wear originally worn by the British army in the North African desert during World War ll and made a resurgence in fashion in the '70's and again in the 21st century.
I have to say it is so refreshing to see a man (not a model) effortlessly pulled together, not a tattoo or beard in sight. Yes, I know, not everyone can have their lined suit hand tailored on Savile Row, but it doesn't cost anything to look neat and clean. There, I said it. Soapy just doesn't do it for me.
