Hurricane Supplies - T.S. Issac - August 28, 2012

Have checked in some NOLA friends to find out their status regarding the impending storm. Almost exactly 7 years to the day that Katrina hit just east of New Orleans and the levees broke - crazy.

Gary & Les are riding it out over in the Bayou St. John. Their basic hurricane supplies include their two gallons of White Russian daiquiris from St. Charles' Street Daiquiri Place. Technically, the two gallons are the basic part of their normal weekend routine, but in times of emergency, they were purchased early, on a Monday rather than a Friday.

Andrea left the Bywater this morning with her boyfriend, two dogs and two bottles of wine. She's headed to the Texas/Louisiana border.

Will check back later...
